Winner of RTS West of England Award for the Best Regional Documentary 2004
On December 7 2004 our documentary for BBC West about Sir Frank Whittle won the Best Regional Documentary Award at the Royal Television Society's West of England Award Ceremony in Bristol.
This documentary was the first of our "umbrella'ed" documentaries to be broadcast in the UK and was a joint venture with Producer/Director Chris Corden.
The judges' citation included the comment that the programme, "proved to be full of unexpected insights and revelations, extraordinary archive footage, fascinating interviews and a real sense of pioneering adventure”.
